Experience
I start tutoring Math in 2012 subjects to several students, ranging from 6th to 12th grade-- my students came from both local, national plus and international schools in Jakarta. I have also done some tutoring work for students who needs assistance in preparing the Math topics for SAT exam or other equivalent exams. I have experience in teaching students from: - Various students taking new SAT and SAT 2 Math - Singapore Institute of Management (Diploma of Management Studies program): Business Finance, Math for Business, Microeconomics, Managerial Accounting, Business Statistics, Macroeconomics. - IPEKA Integrated Christian School Grade 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 -- all subjects. - Bina Bangsa School: Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, JC1, JC2. (Extended Math, Additional Math, Statistics 1, Mechanics 1, Pure Math 1, Pure Math 2 & 3) - Binus Simprug: Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 (Math / IB SL / IB HL) - British School Jakarta: Grade 7, 9 - SMAK4: Grade 10. (Math) - IPEKA: Grade 11, 12. (Math) - National High School: Grade 5, 6, 7 - Sampoerna Academy - St Laurensia: Grade 7, 8, 11. (MII and MIE) - Singapore International School: JC (Statistics 1 & 2) - Gandhi Memorial International School: Grade 10, 11, 12 (Math, IB Math SL & HL) - Raffles Christian School: Sec 3, 4 (Math & A-Math), JC1 (Economics, Pure Math 1, Stats 1), JC2 (Pure Math 2 & 3, Mechanics 1) I really enjoy teaching as I get to meet different kind of people with different background and stories. I want my students to know that Mathematics is (in my opinion) the easiest subject compared to other science subjects :D. It also feels really rewarding to see your tutees (who used to struggle with Math) do better and has significantly better grade at the end of each quarter/semester. I used to teach college-level Math subjects (Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra, Differential Equations, etc) and also college-level Economics subjects (usually basic Macroeconomics and Microeconomics) to my fellow Indonesian friends during my study in the US (2006-2011). During this time I always see improvements in my friends' grades after being tutored by me. I worked full time in banking and consulting industry. My previous jobs experience including business valuation, financial modeling, trade finance, financial analysis, and also marketing/relationship management.
