Experience
Motivation for tutoring: Living in Indonesia since May 2017 I've come across many people struggling with English and eager to improve on their skills. They would like to have more knowledge in order to gain confidence when speaking English. This motivated me to get my TEFL certificate and sart teaching. Since a few months I've been tutoring a few students now, which is very enjoyable and rewarding. I like my lessons to be varied and briskly paced, with practice on all 4 skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking). In order to achieve this I have handouts for the students (students' book and workbook). I use video and audio to get students accustomed to hearing spoken English by natives. Furthermore I integrate role-plays / interviews as part of my lessons to develop students' conversational skills and help increase confidence.
