I completed one Bahasa Indonesia class per week with Waristian throughout January and February 2016. Originally one of my friends had given me her details and recommended her as someone who quoted a good price and seemed quite professional through their communications. I found it very easy to organise the classes with her each week and was given the option to do them with some of my friends if I wanted. We organised to meet at a location that was conveniently located near my work and the classes were usually run on time. The thing I enjoyed most about taking Bahasa classes with Waristian was the informal chats we had using as much Indonesian as I could. When I was pushed to try and answer questions through general chit-chat I found my vocabulary retention increase. It wasn’t just the informal conversations though that helped me learn the language; it was also the fact that I enjoyed the class because I felt engaged in her teaching approach. She would constantly tell me about the differences between Australia and Indonesia which I always enjoyed hearing about. There is no question in her ability to speak or write in English; at times I even found her correcting my own English sentences. She is very experienced in what she does and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering learning Bahasa Indonesia or English.
